Abstract: The Road Management System (RMS) Road Inventory was created to support the management of the road network, with a focus on the development of an Environmental Maintenance Plan for all roads. Specifically, the project: Compiled existing road information (spatial and attribute) for the roads within the Lillooet TSA. Created a routed road coverage for the Lillooet TSA. Populated an RMS with the created routes and known attributes of the routes e.g.: structures, deactivation, risk, permit, status, etc. Provided for the evaluation of previous work completed and the risk assessment of work still to be carried out. Provided RMS training to support Environmental Maintenance. The Lillooet TSA Road Management project represents the development of a system to support Environmental Maintenance Projects on Non-status roads. The RMS compiles data from across the TSA into a consistent format and allows access to road related information for licensees and government to ensure that environmental risks associated with these roads are managed. The RMS was identified as a key component of an Environmental Maintenance Plan for the roads within the TSA and it supports road management planning and decisions that have to be made regarding environmental risk management on non-status roads.
