Two permanent channel monitoring sites were established in 1999 on the Duruisseau Creek mainstem channel, one on the upper creek and one on the lower creek. On October 24, 202 the channel monitoring sites were re-assessed, for the fourth consecutive year. The 2001 monitoring report recommended that future channel monitoring only be completed when significant annual peak flows occur or when other significant watershed conditions exist. Although the 2002 peak flow in the Ashnola River was only a 2 year event, the channel monitoring update was still conducted. No significant changes were noted at the sites.
