The work described in this proposal is part of an ongoing project funded by CFS. The projects' primary objective is to quantify the growth loss attributable to sub-lethal Armillaria infection in Douglas-fir plantations in the southern interior. The proposed collaborative work with Ian Cameron (Thrower), Rob Macdonald (Ramsoft) and Ken Mitchell (MOF) addresses the Chief Forester's concerns and is a first step in developing realistic operational adjustment factors to account for Armillaria damage that could be incorporated into TASS/TIPSY growing data base kept at Canadian Forest Service Mike Cruickshank .
