This project works toward the collection of necessary information to aid the design of a larger and long-term study on managing predation risk for northern caribou. The activities here are to: i) collect baseline monitoring of radio-collared moose, wolves, and caribou located within 2 herd areas, ii) develop a population survey of 2 herds, and iii) investigate mortality causes and survival rates for caribou in 2 or more herd areas.
