Apollo has identifed approximately 160 culverts located on pre-1995 road permit roads and existing FSRs in the Kazchek and Kloch operating areas. TRIM data, and local knowledge was used to identify fish bearing and potential fish bearing streams that concide with the selected roads. Each stream culvert on the selected roads will be assessed for fish passage as per the field requirements detailed in 'Watershed Restoration Technical Circular No. 11'. The stream crossings will be priotized for restoration work either later in 2006 or during the summer of 2007 under a seperate FIA proposal. As a result of a field verification, the 160 possible culverts have been narrowed down to approximately 39 crossings.
