The Species at Risk Project is expected to be completed in 3 to 5 years. The product will be a database of the Species at Risk (SAR) that occur in the Kamloops TSA by BEC variant. Users will be able to query the database for detailed information if necessary, but will be able to produce field cards for each BEC variant summarizing only retention features necessary at the stand level, without specific species information. Information gaps will be addressed each year, with recommendations for species inventories where necessary.
