In 2004 a FIA project #6224024 was started at this site. Its aim was to convert 10 ha of severely weeviled spruce to other species. It included mechanical site preparation and planting of 4.9 ha with Cw, 2.1 ha with Fd and 3.0 ha with Dr.
FIA project no 6658022 continues with the conversion. The Fd is well established and is likely not to require further treatments. The Cw survived well but is heavily browsed by deer and overtopped by brush. The alder did not survive and this area is brushed over.
