Abstract: The objective of permanent deactivation work on non-status roads DM9D, N6N, N6N2, N6N3, N6N4, N6N5, DM48Z, DM42G, DM42J, and TR6 was to: ? address moderate to very high risks associated with uncontrolled drainage, failing drainage structures, and unstable road prisms, ? create self-maintaining conditions, and ? close the roads to all vehicles. Resources at stake include local (in the case of DM9D) and downstream water quality and fish habitat, slope stability, forest road infrastructure, and forest resources. The roads are not located in a community watershed.
