A settling pond positioned at the head of the Vancouver Bay salmon spawning and rearing channel was filled with sediment. The purpose of this project was to remove the sediment and re-establish the settling pond function. The project started on September 9th, 2007 and was completed on September 10, 2007. The Sechelt Indian Band provided biological support, Interfor provided the construction equipment and operators, and nhc provided on-site coordination and supervision.
