Owing to the highly valued water resource in the Penticton Creek Community watershed, it is very desirable to reduce and/or to eliminate all chronic sediment sources. Of some concern is the higher frequency, more intense precipitation events accompanying climate change that have the potential to generate acute sediment production from otherwise stable roads. Overall objective was to complete Road Inspection and Maintenance Reports (RIMR) for select roads in the Penticton Creek Community Watershed and to complete all prescribed earth works (Road 799).
