The objective of permanent deactivation work on the non-status portion of road 1936.25 and spurs was to:
· address moderate and high risks associated with uncontrolled drainage, road and landing erosion, failed or failing drainage structures, and unstable fillslopes,
· create self-maintaining conditions, and
· close the road to all vehicles.
Resources at stake include downstream water quality and fish habitat. Moderate to high risks associated with uncontrolled drainage, failed or failing drainage structures, and unstable road prisms were present pre-treatment. The road is not located in a community watershed but the Raft River watershed is a priority for fisheries related reasons.
