The objective of environmental maintenance work on the non-status portion of road 2100.00 was to create self-maintaining conditions, protect road infrastructure and water quality, and maintain easy four wheel drive access for recreational reasons. Resources at stake include road infrastructure, water quality, downstream fish habitat, and recreational access. Moderate to high risks associated with long term structure failure and effects on water quality and access were present pre-treatment. The road is not located in a community watershed but the Raft River watershed is a priority for fisheries related reasons.
