A 2002 Fish Passage Culvert Inspection Procedure identified this location as an upstream barrier to rainbow trout migration with a score of 31. Rationale were provided to secure the site as an eligible project with primary concerns being the small culvert size relative to Q100 (21% of Q100) and the deep 6m fills which pose an environmental hazard if the culverts faileds. A hydologic assessment and a culvert design were completed for this site in 2008/2009 und project 5046001.
