Bergman Geoscience Consulting was retained by Madrone Environmental Services Limited to provide assurance that deactivation works carried out in the field conform to the deactivation plan and applicable standards. The work consists of on-site deactivation supervision of works related to the rehabilitation of approximately 750m of the Mt. Seymour Road, and a sign off letter with map stating the works conform to the deactivation plan. This work includes approximately seven cross ditches, three culvert removals trail surface smoothing, works to limit trail access to hikers only, and any additional works the deactivation supervisor feels are necessary to ensure long term stability and erosion control of the trail.
