To identify priority streams in the TFL 25 portion of the Skidegate Lake and Mosquito Lake Project Areas for review and preparation of instream restoration prescriptions [refer to key maps]. Thirteen streams and their tributaries were identified as priorities ranging in class from S2 to S4. Stream names include Shale, White Swan, Upper Pallant, and Mosquito Creeks along with locally named NM1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, South Pallant and North Pallant. Sockeye and coho salmon spawning and rearing habitat are targeted for restoration in the Shale and White Swan systems. Coho spawning and rearing is targeted in the Mosquito Creek and North and South Pallant systems with resident trout in the systems around Mosquito Lake. The area is not a community watershed.
