Abstract: This project was completed by Timberline Natural Resource Group (Timberline) for the Kamloops TSA licencees. Michael Bragg, RPF (Regional Forester Planning/Development at Tolko Industries Ltd.) is the Kamloops TSA licencee?s project manager. The Timberline project team included Sean Curry, RPF (Project Manager), Jamie Skinner, RPF (Project Support), Scott MacKinnon, RPF (Project Support), Dan Erikson, BNRSc (database support) and Darryl Klassen, BNRSc (GIS Support). This is a Forest Investment Account (FIA) funded project. While significant effort was invested in the original Kamloops TSA Old Growth Management Areas (OGMA), significant time has elapsed since Round 2 OGMAs1 were identified. In addition, the final consultation and review was incomplete, the Forest and Range Practices Act (FRPA) was implemented, Forest Stewardship Plans (FSP) have been approved and a significant number of new tenure holders now operate on the landbase. This combination of factors, in conjunction with licencee initiative led to the initiation of this project. Significant work was undertaken in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009, however additional effort was required to finish the project in 2010.
