The Little Brown Myotis (Myotis lucifugus, abbreviation: MYLU) and Northern Myotis (Myotis septentrionalis, abbreviation: MYSE) were added to Schedule 1 of SARA in 2014 as a consequence of declines from the invasive fungal disease white-nose syndrome. The purpose of this literature review is to establish a baseline of knowledge regarding M. lucifugus and M. septentrionalis in central and northern British Columbia and the surrounding provinces/territories, from which to prioritize efforts outlined in the B.C.
