"Anadromous gamefish" includes five salmonid species angled in freshwater in British Columbia: steelhead trout (Salmo gairdneri Richardson), cutthroat trout (Salmo clarki clarki Richardson), Dolly Varden char (Salvelinus malma Walbaum), chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha Walbaum) and coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch Walbaum). Techniques for the enhancement of these species are reported in numerous job completion reports, manuscript reports and publications in the fisheries literature; it is the purpose of this report to summarize this information and identify areas where further developmental research and evaluation is necessary.
