This bibliography contains 123 and 220 annotated references on the ecology of cutthroat trout (Salmo clarki clarki Richardson) and Dolly Varden char (Salvelinus malma, Walbaum), respectively. It also includes 47 non-annotated references on cutthroat trout and 66 non-annotated references on Dolly Varden char. The cutthroat references include articles on behaviour, feeding habits and diet, fish culture and hatchery propagation, habitat requirements, growth, survival, general life history, management studies, migration and distribution. The Dolly Varden bibliography is arranged in similar format but excluding fish culture and hatchery propagation. The latter section was omitted due to the lack of information on artificial manipulation of Dolly Varden populations.
