Fish and wildlife are protected by provincial, federal and international laws. These laws allow regulated use of fish and wildlife resources and are intended to prevent the malicious or negligent destruction of wild creatures and their habitat. This report provides an overview of the methods used to control mosquitoes and the effects they have on fish and wildlife resources, and it presents suggestions for alternative control measures.
