Abstract: This guide for authors is designed for Fisheries staff in the Fisheries Branch, B.C. Ministry of Environment, who wishes to have their work published in the B.C. Fisheries Branch Publication Series. We welcome draft reports which present new information in fisheries science and management, applied limnology, and habitat bioengineering. Manuscripts are selected for publication in the series according to the extent and significance of new knowledge or ideas presented in reference to aquatic systems in British Columbia. Manuscript reports submitted should be as comprehensive as possible; fragments are generally unacceptable and should appear as progress reports within relevant Section or Regional Report Series. In the Fisheries Branch Publication Series, there are two types of publications (the Fisheries Management Publication has been discontinued in favour of the use of primary fisheries journals), Fisheries Management Reports and Fisheries Technical Circulars.
