Habitat Protection Biologists and staff have participated in a number of habitat planning exercises. Within the Ministry of Environment (MOE) there have been 16 Strategic Plans completed for portions of the province. Most recently, 10 Regional Wildlife Plans have been completed for the province which describe habitats and management strategies. Recommendations are provided for information and planning needs that should be addressed in the habitat planning process.
