This accompanying report is intended to generate information on ungulate production that is comparable to information currently being collected for forage production forests, and agricultural crops. This system will be useful in protecting and managing the province’s classification system and emphasis is placed on habitat factors rather than on existing wildlife populations. While this report deals specifically with ungulate habitat classification, much of the philosophy and methodology can be applied to other wildlife species
