This is a brief description of the classification system and methods used in the biophysical capability classification of lands for wildlife (ungulates) in British Columbia. It is based on the system developed for mapping wildlife (ungulate) capabilities under the Canada Land Inventory (Perret, 1969; Blower, 1973) with some important differences. (Luckhurst 1975 unpub.)
