This bibliography is an annotation of the scientific literature published on large organic debris (LOD) or coarse woody debris (CWD) with regards to stream channels and fish habitat. The references primarily document studies conducted within the boundaries of North-western United States, South-eastern Alaska and British Columbia, Canada. A few other selective references from outside this geographic area are also included. The bibliography includes those articles published between 1973 and 1990, although a few selected references published prior to 1973 have also been included. This bibliography includes a total of 129 references of which 107 are annotated.
