Since 1986, the B.C. Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks, in partnership with the Fraser River Commission, has measured contaminant concentrations in sediments, biota, and effluents at sites in the Fraser River and Boundary Bay. This report provides information on sediment contaminant concentrations and toxicity at six sites where we have collected sediment data in the past, as well as at several sloughs and backwater areas where we thought that contaminants may have accumulated due to current or historic activities.
