The purpose of this guide is to assist Diking Authorities, Local Authorities, and other agencies in the design and construction of slope or bank protection works and to provide current information on the design and construction of riprap in British Columbia for use by owners and design professionals. The guide addresses design and construction of repairs to existing works, design and construction of new works, and construction of emergency works. The guide is a summary of the technical report included as Appendix A. The technical report provides details for the design and construction of riprap revetments.
