This project was undertaken by the Regional Office Environmental Section in response to a request from the Environmental Safety Section for a preliminary impact assessment of the subject site. Due to the somewhat limited scope of the survey, and the relatively short time frame, this document is submitted as a preliminary report. It is recognized that a number of longterm factors, such as seasonal variations in contaminant levels in vegetation, are not considered. Hopefully the findings of this survey will assist the Regional Office in assessing the company's proposals for site remediation and waste stream management.
