The City of North Vancouver 100 Year Sustainability Vision project is one of the first projects in British Columbia to consider at the municipal scale the feasibility of meeting the challenging GHG emission targets established by the 2007 Greenhouse Gas Reduction Targets Act. The project addresses the question of what specific decisions for land use, building form, transportation and infrastructure will contribute to reducing energy consumption and GHG emissions while supporting other environmental, social and economic goals.
