Abstract |
As part of ecological monitoring by the Ministry of Forests associated with the Gypsy moth eradication program in the spring of 1999, we investigated the responses of songbirds to a reduced food supply resulting from aerial spraying. The results of this and previous studies indicate the the use of Btk (Bacillus Thuringiensis var. kurstaki) to control Gypsy Moth populations has few, if any, short-term effects on songbird abundance. | ||||||
