Title
Annual Report of the Game Conservation Board of the Province of British Columbia
Author
Game Conservation Board
Date
1920
Abstract
The Game Amendment Act, 1920, passed at the last Session of the Legislature, placed upon the Game Conservation Board the duty of writing a report to the Minister "of their operations during the year, and generally as to all matters affecting game in the Province." This report will therefore be confined to the activities of the Board during the past year, but as it is the first report to be issued since the Board's inception in 1918, it will be necessary to refer from time to time to the policies inaugurated, in order to present a comprehensive statement of the steps taken by the Board since assuming their duties, to afford a system of game protection which would combine efficient supervision with a broad-minded policy towards all classes interested, for conserving the wild life in this Province.
