Abstract |
The project will focus on the implementation of completed prescriptions for high priority roads located on Mt. Elphinstone. The prescribed works are designed to: 1) protect the structural integrity of the existing roads; 2) establish a functioning and self maintaining drainage system through the removal of old non-functioning drainage structures (i.e. wood box culverts) and replace them with self maintaining well armored crossing and; 3) to manage water, soil erosion and control sediment through a series of cross drains and out-sloping of the roads. Planned environmental maintenance for the 2007/08 fiscal includes approximately 3485 meters of old road named Guy?s Gulch, Dude?s Bypass and Black Tower. | ||||||||
