Title
Eberts Creek Structure Installation
Author

Abstract
The existing stream crossing consisted of an 1800mm corrugated steel pipe (see Photo 1). It is understood that the pipe was installed several decades ago to facilitate the passage of Eberts Creek beneath the Adams West FSR. As is common with most culverts installed on streams subject to bedload transport, the culvert contributed to sediment accumulation upstream and channel scour downstream, which resulted in the perched outlet fish barrier seen on Photo 1. Although the existing structure did facilitate low maintenance passage of industrial traffic across Eberts Creek and the flow of water beneath the road, it had an adverse environmental impact.
