Abstract
The purpose of this project is to follow up on previously identified moderate and high risk sites for permanent road deactivation. Access would be limited to ATV or completely closed off. Works will involve routine road deactivation work and include the removal of two bridge crossings. - G-0139 (Site A) -- Place large rip rap along ravelling cutbank, revegtate with decid along stream, rehab road by planting conifers on road surface - G-7 (Road in Block 522-3) -- Remove bridge, slope back and revegetate approaches. Pull back all material adjacent to the creek to create a broad swale, remove material slumping into the creek at the road cut. - G-8 (Between Blocks 522-2 and 522-3) -- Remove bridge, slope back and revegetate approaches. Pull back all material adjacent to the creek to create a broad swale, remove material slumping into the creek at the road cut. - G-9/10 (road in block 502-3) -- Stations 113, 114, 115 remove culverts and cross ditch, roads associated with CP 502 blocks 1 to 6 deactivate
