Threats (to population, occurrences, or area affected)
Degree of Threat: D = Low
Comments:

The preferred habitat for this species is common in the northern portion of BC (open boreal fens and bogs, as well as marshes and beaver ponds with abundant mosses and sedges) and there will be wetland threats such as drainage, pollutants, sedimentation and development, however the number of locations and remoteness dissipates many of the threat scores.
