Global Habitat Comments: This species is found in mountain tundra on rocky slopes or between hills and stream valleys at or below the treeline (Scott, 1986; Layberry et al. 1998; Opler, 1999).

Global Food Habits Comments: The larva feeds on Corydalis gigantea, C. pauciflora, C. arctica, C. paeoniiholia, C. gorodkovi, and C. pauciflora.
