| Provincial Habitat Comments: | Habitat is dry, open grassland on xeric, rocky sites at low to moderate elevations (Hitchcock et al. 1955-1969; Douglas et al. 1998-2002; Bogler 2006). Associated species listed on the few available herbarium specimens include Pseudoroegneria spicata, Artemisia, Ericameria nauseosa, Antennaria dimorpha, Selaginella densa, and Erigeron linearis. In B.C., Crepis modocensis ssp. modocensis occurs 300-600 m lower than the 900 to 2500 m range reported for this taxon farther south in the Intermountain U.S. (Bogler 2006). | ||||||||||
