Widespread in Canada from the eastern provinces to Yukon Territory, south to British Columbia and Montana; Alaska (Elliott and Moore 1989). Britain and Ireland (Mid Perth, Angus, Argyll); North and Central Europe, Iceland, Caucasus, Central Asia, China, North America and Greenland (Smith 1978).
