| Global Food Habits Comments: | The food habits of this species are unreported, but other members of the tribe Arctiini of the subfamily Arctiinae are often polyphagous with a particular species feeding on several families of plants. Larvae obtained from eggs laid by captive females are often raised on dandelion or lettuce leaves (D.C. Ferguson, personal communication). Many members of this genus have been reared, some often, and they all appear to prefer herbaceous dicots (D. Schweitzer, D. Ferguson and many others). | ||||||||||
