Global Habitat Comments: Erythranthe suksdorfii is found in moist, open areas, with clay to loamy soils, in valleys and foothills, to moderate or occasionally high elevations in the mountains (Camp and Gamon 2011, Flora of North America Editorial Committee 2019). In Washington, Erythranthe suksdorfii occurs in seasonally moist swales, drainages, or vernal pools within sagebrush steppe vegetation (Camp and Gamon 2011).

Global Range Comment: Erythranthe suksdorfii is known from British Columbia, Washington, east to Montana south to California and New Mexico (Flora of North America Editorial Comittee 2019). Range extent was estimated using herbarium specimens and NatureServe Network occurrence data collected between 1992 and 2023 (GBIF 2023, iNaturalist 2023, NatureServe 2023).
