Global Habitat Comments: Occurs within the wettest, coolest portions of the British Columbia inland rain forest. Has been found on branches of Abies lasiocarpa, Picea glauca, Populus trichocarpa, Thuja plicata and Tsuga heterophylla in areas that are influenced by nutrient enrichment, e.g., from road dust. As of yet, has been documented only from humid forests older than about 100 years (Spribille et al. 2009).

Endemic: Y
Global Range Comment: This species is known from inland British Columbia and is newly confirmed for Alaska (Troy McMullin pers. comm. 2021). Core range is a small, humid portion of the Rocky Mountain Trench, approximately 65 km east of Prince George, though also known from the upper Adams River in the Columbia Mountains (Spribille et al. 2009).
