Ecosystem Mapping (1:20,000 scale) for the Namu study area covered an area approximately 56,060 ha. in size. The study area encompasses the Nootum River drainage, Koeye River drainage, Gildersleeve Lake, Doc Creek, Draney Lakes and Cold Creek and is located east of Namu Lake.
