Suitability classifications for grape production in the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys of BC are presented in narrative and map form. Maps themes are grouped in pdf bundles with the first page of each bundle being the map legend for that bundle.

Existing land use and farm management techniques are not considered in the classifications. Five suitability classes show the relationship between grape varieties, growing season climatic conditions, and soils. A historical progression of events in the grape industry: detailed descriptions of climate and soil themes as these relate to grape growing; summary information for selected climate stations; combinations of climate and climate and soil themses are also presented. Maps themes are grouped in pdf bundles with the first page of each bundle being the map legend for that bundle.
