The Watershed Plans comprise Volume 2 of the Strategic Plan of the Bridge-Coastal Fish and Wildlife Restoration Program (BCRP). They contain detailed information on fish and wildlife impacts, issues and restoration objectives in each of the 15 watersheds in BC Hydros Bridge-Coastal Generation Area. They may be revised or supplemented as necessary during the implementation of the Program, within the context of the framework set out in the Strategic Plan.

The Watershed Plans describe the footprint impacts of hydroelectric development and identify biological factors that may limit species production and diversity in the watersheds based on available infonnation. This provides basic information for developing restoration objectives for each watershed. Technical workshops held in Kamioops, Nanaimo and Vancouver in June 2000 provided input on the major fish and wildlife issues and the development of potential restoration strategies
