Welcome to IPSWeb

The Integrated Petroleum System (IPS) web search tool, or IPSWeb, is the public search interface to the provincial tenure registries administered under the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act and the Geothermal Resources Act. Using the search links at the left, users can retrieve complete up-to-the-minute descriptions of any active tenure issued under either of the two Acts, and summary information on the titles and interests held by any registered titleholder.

This is a public service provided at no charge to industry and the public at large.

Client Info Query

The Client Info Query displays the current contact information for a registered titleholder along with a listing of basic information on each active title in which the titleholder holds a registered interest.

Results are displayed in text and pdf format.

To navigate the list quickly move the cursor into the box below and type the first letters of the company you wish to search for, then use your mouse or keyboard keys to find the entry you are after. Click the Submit button.

Quick Title Query

The Quick Title Query searches the Tenure Registry by the title number

Enter the title number and click Submit

Multiple Title Query

The Multiple Title Report query allows you to search the Tenure Registry for multiple titles at a time and report in the same format and with the same content as a Quick Title Query report.

You can upload a file in a comma separated value format with a list of titles.

Or you can click the icon to to add new lines of input fields. Click Submit to generate the report for all added titles
